Do I have to register to post an ad?
No, you don't need to register to post ads on SellOver Classifieds.

What does it cost to post an ad?
Posting ad is free, but advertisers can choose optional ad enhancements to make their ads more effective, detail is available on the post ad page. We don't charge any fees when ad is viewed, edited, users contact advertiser or when advertiser make a sale.

How do I post an ad?
Posting ad is easy. Simply follow the instructions below:
1. Click "Post Ad" button.
2. Choose a category.
3. Enter the ad details.
4. Then click the "Submit" button.

What are the posting rules?
1. No duplicate ads
We only allow one ad for a particular item/job/flat etc. Please do not post the same ad more than once either in the same category or across multiple categories.

2. Post in the correct category
Please post in the correct category as it helps you in reaching the right audience and also helps users in finding what they want.

SellOver classifieds reserves the right to remove postings that we feel are not relevant or of value to the SellOver Classifieds community with or without notice.

How can I avoid fraud and attack?
To avoid fraud and attack, please have the following in your mind:
1. Try to deal locally with people you can meet in person.
2. Always take someone you trust along to meeting place. The meeting should be held in a public place and if you suspect anything wrong, quickly report the situation to the appropriate security agency in your area.
3. Never send money or wire funds to people you do not trust.
4. Never give out financial information e.g. bank account number and social security number.
5. Never give out personal information except it is really necessary.
6. SellOver Classifieds is not involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification".

How can I include images in my ad?
When you are on the "Create Ad" or "Edit Ad" page, click the "Browse..." button which appears under the add image heading. Select a picture file from your computer and click "OK". The picture will then be uploaded and attached to your ad. You can also add a video or audio clip using the same process.

How can I edit, repost or delete my ad from the site?
If you are a registered user, you can edit, extend ad expiration and delete ads from your account. Non-registered users can only monitor and delete ads.

How long do ads last on the site?
Ads that are not extended are automatically removed from the site after 7 days.

Adding fund to your account is very easy. Simply login into your account, click the "Add Fund" link then enter the amount you want to add in the field provided on the page. Click the "Add Fund" button when you are done and follow subsequent instructions.

How can I deal with people in my locality?
A system has been put in place to help you deal with people in your area. You can do this by simply using the search function to identify ads in your area and by posting ads with specific location.

How can I make my ad featured after posting the ad?
By clicking the "Edit" link of the ad, you will be able to make your ad featured, and also add any other ad enhancement of choice.

What items are not permitted to be listed on SellOver Classifieds?
Users may not post ads for goods or services that are illegal where they live. We require that our members comply with applicable laws and regulations. If you notice any suspicious or questionable content on the site, please use our "report ad" link on the ad page to inform us about the listing so that we will take technical and legal steps to remove the listing and keep the offending advertiser off SellOver Classifieds. The following items are prohibited on SellOver Classifieds:

1. Materials that infringes copyrights and trademarks.
2. Embargoed goods.
3. Items designed to be used to commit a crime.
4. Stocks and other financial securities.
5. Fraudulent items.
6. Animals, plants and insects that are regulated or prohibited for sale under applicable laws.
7. Obscene materials or pornography.
8. Stolen goods or property that is altered in any way.
9. Prescription drugs, controlled substances and illegal drugs.
