Do I have to register to post an ad?
Yes, you need to register to post an ad on SellOver classifieds.

What does it cost to post an ad and what are the category charges?
All the categories on SellOver Classifieds are free for advertisers. Advertisers can choose optional ad enhancements to make their ads more effective, detail is available on the post ad page. We don't charge any additional fees when ad is viewed, edited, users contact advertiser or when advertiser make a sale. To post ads, you must be registered. Click here to register.

How do I post an ad?
Posting is easy. Simply follow the instructions below:
1. Click "Post Ad" at the top of all SellOver Classifieds pages.
2. Choose a category.
3. Enter a title, price (if applicable), description and location. You have the option of sponsoring your ad, adding pictures, web link, video and audio.
4. Then click the "Submit" button.

What are the posting rules?
1. No duplicate ads
We only allow one ad for a particular item/ job/ flat etc per month. Please do not post the same ad more than once in a particular month either in the same category or across multiple categories. Any duplicate ads will be removed.

2. Post in the correct category
Please post in the correct category as it helps both posters in reaching the right audience with their ad and helps the users looking for something to find what they want.

SellOver classifieds reserves the right to remove any postings that we feel are not relevant or of value to the SellOver Classifieds community with or without notice.

How can I avoid scammers?
To avoid scammers please follow these common-sense rules:
1. Try to deal locally with people you can meet in person.
2. Never wire funds via Western union or any other wire service to people you do not trust.
3. SellOver Classifieds is not involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification".
4. Never give out financial information (bank account number, social security number, etc.)

How can I include images in my ad?
When you are on the "Post Ad" or "Edit Ad" page, click the "Browse..." button which appears under the add image heading. Select a picture file from your computer's hard disk and click "OK". The picture will then be uploaded and attached to your Ad. You can add up 4 pictures using the same process. Remember a picture is worth a thousand words.

How can I edit, repost or delete my ad from the site?
If you are a registered user, then you can edit or delete your ad from your account.

How long do ads last on the site?
Ads are automatically removed from the site 30 days after being posted.

Report it to us so that we can take a look and take appropriate action. If you have been a victim of a scam we also encourage you to report it to the Police.

What should I do if I see an ad that I think is spam, offensive, miscategorized or illegal?
If you see an ad which you think is illegal, prohibited or otherwise a bad fit for SellOver classifieds, please report it by clicking one of the "report ad" links. Illegal Ads can also be reported by contacting us using the "Report illegal/infringing ad".

How can I add fund to my account and what payment options do you accept?
Adding fund to your account is very easy. Simply login into your account, click the "Add Fund" link then enter the amount you want to add in the box provided on the page. Click the "Add Fund" button when you are done and follow subsequent instructions. We accept almost all payment options e.g. credit cards, debit cards, paypal, e-checks, money order etc.

How can I deal only with people from my locality?
A system has been put in place to help you deal with people in your area. You can do this by simply using the search function to identify ads in your area.

How can I sponsor my ad after posting the ad?
By clicking the "Edit" link on the already posted ad which you can find in your account. You will be able to sponsor your ad or add any other ad enhancement of choice, if you have not done so initially while posting the ad.

What items are not permitted to be listed on SellOver Classifieds?
Users may not post ads for goods or services that are illegal where they live. We require that our members comply with applicable laws and regulations. If you notice any suspicious or questionable content on the site, please use our 'report ad' links on the ad page to inform us about the listing so that We will take technical and legal steps to remove the listing and keep the offending advertiser off SellOver Classifieds. The following items are prohibited on SellOver Classifieds:

1. Materials that infringes copyrights and trademarks.
2. Embargoed goods.
3. Items designed to be used to commit a crime.
4. Stocks and other financial securities.
5. Fraudulent items.
6. Animals, plants and insects that are regulated or prohibited for sale under applicable laws.
7. Obscene materials or pornography.
8. Stolen goods or property that is altered in any way.
9. Prescription drugs, controlled substances and illegal drugs.
10. Content that can intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law.
11. Services that are illegal or including prostitution.
12. Items that promote hatred and violence against any group of people.
13. Fireworks.
